The RPA and the candidates it endorses do not take any corporate or developer donations. We believe that they have too much power in our political system through their political contributions, lobbyists, and direct control over key institutions in our lives. Financial independence from corporations is a critical first step in getting policies that are in the interests of the people of Richmond.
We mainly depend on volunteer work to counter the money of the corporations in politics (see Get Involved). In the last two elections we were outspent by about 20 to 1 but we still won. We
still have to depend on many small financial contributions to pay for necessities like printing and phone. We need your help.
You can contribute to the RPA to help with general community education and projects by pressing the link below. Or you can mail a check to RPA, PO Box 160, Station A, Richmond, CA
Please help. Remember your few dollars combined with lots of volunteer labor goes a long way toward creating a better Richmond.
